Over the last few years, indecent dressing has been in vogue. A lifestyle that his being appreciated by many in our contemporary society. Indecent dressing is indeed one topic out of a million that cannot be over emphasized.
The need to educate individuals on the deleterious effect associated with indecent dressing has become more relevant in our contemporary society than before; this is due to the fact that indecent dressing is deceitfully becoming one of our values. 

What are values?
 
According to Cambridge advanced learner dictionary; "Value is the belief people have about what is right and wrong and what is most important in life, which control their behavior". With this definition, it can be stipulated logically that indecent dressing is not suppose to be the value of a society. Though we know that value varies from one society to another, indecent dressing is still yet not an appreciable value in any society. Today in World, the average youth agitate to dress indecently neglecting the fact that indecent dressing is one of the high moral decadence challenging humanity.

The Oxford Learners Dictionary defined indecent dressing as "the CRIME of intentionally exposing ones sexual organs in public”.
As we know crime is a shameful or deplorable action that constitutes a serious offense against an individual and is punishable by law.
Analyzing the above definition, it is logical to portray that indecent dressing is a crime, and not only to oneself but also a crime to humanity..

How do you think you look like with your cleavage and thighs or your dirty faded boxers exposed? You think you look sexy and cute; you are the happening "G". No! I don't think so; you are only blinded with moral decadence and fashion.

Indecent dressing is usually concern with the men exposing their faded boxers, while that of the female counterpart involve exposed cleavages and thighs which tend to be hazardous especially in various towns and city.
Studies  has shown that  majority of automobile accident occur as a result of numerous forms distraction. These distractions can be associated with what these drivers see on the road. If you research intuitively, you discover that some of these drivers maybe looking at exposed cleavages and thighs at about the time of the hazardous incident.

A conventional definition of the term "indecent dressing" is any dress that is worn by an individual and has the ability of predispose another individual to hazard and also has the potential of polluting the mind.

Reasons Why People Dress Indecently 

1. TO LOOK CUTE AND SEXY: 

One of the major reason why people especially youths dress indecently is to be complimented as being sexy and swagalicious. One question we must ask ourselves is whether it is enough to deteriorate our value because we want in honest compliment from others. Sadly, the female folks are expected to be sexy, as our society no longer appreciates decent dressing. Remember you are address the way you dress. It is better to look beautiful than being sexy. Beauty comes from within. 

 

2. TO CAUSE CONFUSION OR DRAW ATTENTION: 

 It's no longer news that some females dress to kill while some male in their own path dress to expose their boxers and their six pack. The purpose of a dress is to cover our nakedness, so why dress to get a valued attention from others. If you have the habit of dressing to always kill, you must change that mindset because there is no gain killing anyone with the way you dress. I guess you don’t want to be murdered.

3. PEER PRESSURE:

Many people dress indecently because of peer pressure. When all your friends are dressing indecently, you may not be able to resist the temptation of succumbing to their dress sense. You must therefore associate yourself with people with the right value of dressing responsibly. It is far better to dress indecently than to expose your vital parts.

 







4. TO BLEND WITH LATEST FASHION:  

The title is quite explanatory. When celebrities how are role models of many youths dress indecently, what is expected of the said youths is to follow suit. Since indecently dressing is now in vogue and people who seem to want to be perceived as fashionista’s are left with no option than to dress indecently. 

 

5. TO PROMOTE MORAL DECADENCE: 

Since our values as humans keep depreciating as the day goes by, many people are keen in ensuring our society is morally decade. This set of people tend to promote indecent on the social media so that we begin to think decent dressing is morally acceptable but it  is not.

An individual is not supposed to dress like a prisoner or prostitute. It is an indisputable fact that one can dress decently and still look cute and sexy. Sagging are meant for prisoners, while exposing of body part are meant for prostitute. 
 

Remember that your dress is your address and also, you will be address by the way you dress because you can be mistaken for a tout/ex-convict or even a prostitute just because of your appearance which has a lot to do with your dressing.
